Key Features

If you need help, press the button. You’ll hear a friendly voice over the console asking if you need help. We’ll take it from there – calling a neighbor, family member, or emergency services if required. All our agents are EMT certified, and based in the USA.

Optional Fall Detection buttons are available. And a Cellular system is available if you don't have a phone line. The company’s most popular, offers protection in the backyard and even at a neighbor’s house. Instead of speaking to the monitor through the base unit, a senior would use a two-way medical pendant. It makes communication much easier. Alert 1's top-of-the-line system uses cellular and GPS technologies, a senior takes a small device with them wherever they go, providing protection nationwide. When they are at home, the device sits in a charger and acts as a traditional base unit.

Jon

"Excellent response when my 90-year-old mom depressed her alert button. Thank you."

Diane

"Everything is going good. Keep up the good work. Thank you."

Keith

"Initial activation test. Test went fine on your end, my mother on the other hand, not so well. She was a little confused on what to do and how to respond."

Brandi

"My Grandma had a mild stroke and was able to hit her button. The firetruck arrived and Life Alert stayed on the line with her the entire time. She's alive today."

Margo

"Be very careful. I purchased and activated the Alert 1 mobile system. When I tried to test it a month and a few days later per their instructions, the unit showed a blue light and started beeping. No one called and I couldn't figure out how to turn off the beep. I went to my computer to Google Alert 1 for a phone number. After about 45 minutes, two phone calls (one which was disconnected) and much frustration, I ended up going back to the internet to find a troubleshooting link which provided a method for resetting the unit. Needless to say, I did not trust this unit and tried to cancel my service. I couldn't on Sunday and after being placed on hold for 10 minutes on Monday, a person tried to talk me into continuing service and eventually the call was again disconnected. Again a 5 minute hold to call them back but, I did convince the person to allow me to cancel. However, since it had been a few days past the 30 day warranty, I was unable to get even a partial refund. This entire experience almost made me feel like I'd been scammed. I would never recommend this company."
